As a part of the 2008 Desert-Pacific council Scout Fair another race track called THE TIME MACHINE will be featured. This is a single-lane track capable of recording elapsed times down to 0.00001 second resolution using the same track technology as the eight-lane track. This track is an all-Cub participation event to declare a fastest car of the day. This track provides a race forum for all Cub Scouts to race to see how fast their car really is. They will register, have their car weighed, checked and then have one chance to go down the track for their best time. You don't have to schedule a run time and can leave any time you like. The cars with the best three times at the end of the day will be win trophies. You needn't be present to get your trophy if you have completed your entry form. Cub Scouts with the first, second and third ranked cars will be able to pick up their trophy at the Boy Scout Service Center on Upas St. Bring your Speeding Ticket with the unique secret number to claim your trophy.
