Hello. I changed the name of my law firm because THE Animal Law Center in Colorado didn't want me to use the name Animal Law Center, but that's okay because my firm has evolved into a legal-services firm meaning my main clients are attorneys and law firms. I can still accept lay-clients, but if a lay client is looking for free advice, here it is: Think about hiring an attorney as soon as you know you have a legal problem instead of waiting for it to get big and your deadlines run out. I saw a guy in the public library working on his Wrongful Termination suit at a public computer. He told his buddy that he is not going to hire a lawyer because they charge too much and he knows more than them anyway. Meanwhile he's probably calling attorneys asking for free help.
